34. Pretty In Pink

my romantic valentines weekend ~
is now a bust

turns out, we both have to work this weekend on projects that just came up!
go figure.

so my spa, my romantic time away will have to wait for another day.
on another note, one of my girlfriends is getting married this summer and we're looking for bridesmaids dresses (yes i'm in the wedding party). her wedding theme is pink for breast cancer in support of her mother who passed away from it a few years ago. thought i'd post on some dresses i particularly like!

I love your posts, very inspiring and pretty...I’m in the process of decorating a completely empty place in seattle (just got married). It’s fun but it’s scary! I googled white headboards because that is what I’m looking for, and came across your previous blog, the July posting with 143 white rooms. I was wondering, for someone who has never EVER shopped for furniture before, where do they start looking? I’ve been to the big chain stores but don’t see anything I like. Where can I find a white headboard like the one in your picture?

hi ljkim26,

thanks for dropping by.
to answer your quesiton - most headboards that i use are custom made. you can check out store like BB Bargoon for custom head boards and all you do is pay for the frame and textiles. http://www.bbbargoons.com/products/furniture/custom_headboards/

or, i like to utilize custom carpenters or my contractor who's fantastic at creating headboards. i find it's more economical as well.

congrats on the marriage and new house decor!!!

NNOOOOOOo that's not what i meant! :(
you are beautiful! I was trying to say that no one is really as skinny as those super models..and even if they are it looks unhealthy...

yes - we have a saying in my line of business, "if it walks down the runway, run away..."

as a part of my job in the world of marketing & advertisment, i recruit models for those who don't know and we try to stay away from runway models only for the simple fact that they are too skinny.

this is not my saying nor do i agree with it but truth be told, i don't want to be that skinny...maybe that tall would be nice tho! Hehehee...
